Our chef – Josep Armenteros
His passion for cooking was born as a child in the kitchen of his house. With 15 years he was trained in the CETT, specializing in pastry. The courses with Jordi Butrón and Xano Saguer in Espai Sucre, the master classes by Carles Mampel or Ramón Morato, the stages with Josep María and Ramón Freixa and the participation in numerous conferences have allowed him to meet the most renowned national and international chefs. The fourteen years together with the master Carles Gaig consolidate their evolution in the world of restoration and in 2007 receives the award for best pastry chef in Spain. Josep’s work is not only limited to cooking but also to research, teach, publish and advise on the opening of new premises. Now the time has come to form his own team, to create his letter … For him El Cinco is more than his home, it is his passion.
