His passion for cooking started during his childhood between the stoves of his house . At the age of 15 he joined the CETT, where he specialized in bakery .the course he took with Jordi Butron and Xano vaguer in Espai sucre ,The master classes with Carles Mampel or Ramon Morato, the internships with Josep maria and Ramon Freixa and his participation in numerous conferences has allowed him to know some of the well nationally and internationally known chefs . His 14 years working along the “Maestro” Carles Gaig has consolidated his evolution in the restoration world and 2007 he received the award of the best bakery cook in Spain. Josep’s work is not only limited to cooking but also in investigation,teaching , publishing , and mentoring during the new opening of restaurantes. now it’s time for Josep to create his own team, his menu and open his house, El Cinco
